One last attempt at putting all the puzzle pieces together. With so much uncertainty remaining this will be without a doubt one of the toughest mock drafts to finish. Even this is considered a weaker draft, I feel as though 50 players could be picked in the first round. I’m ready to get this thing started and see who picks who. Here is my FINAL mock draft of the 2013 NFL Draft season.

The day of the 2013 NFL Draft is finally here, when all the speculation will come to an end in a draft that is sure to be full of reaches, steals and surprise picks.

The actual draft is likely to destroy our mock drafts even more than usual this year. Less than 24 hours until the Kansas City Chiefs go on the clock, who they will select at the No. 1 overall pick remains uncertain, though Texas A&M left tackle Luke Joeckel and Central Michigan left tackle Eric Fisher appear to be the most likely choices.

As a result, you should be able to find a wide variety of mock drafts not only here on NEPatriotsDraft, but throughout the NFL Draft Sites Network and the World Wide Web. Here’s my own, unique take on how the first three rounds of the draft could, hypothetically, play out.

Where Dion Jordan goes determines how the first round will fall.

After an intense five days in the city of  Boston we can finally get back to thinking about football and the NFL Draft. Thanks to the brave men and women that apprehended the Boston Marathon suspects over the last 48 hours a sense of normalcy returns to the area today.

The NFL Draft is only five days away and I still don’t have a clue how any of the picks will turn out. As I was told this week “this year is more fluid than ever.” Here is my best attempt at projecting how the draft will play out on Thursday. I have never had a harder time putting together a mock in my life.

It’s hard to believe but the 2013 NFL Draft starts in just a week.

With that being said, we’re in the complete swing of things when it comes to draft talk, so let’s jump right into my latest mock draft.

2013 NFL Mock Draft: Projecting How Potential Trades Could Shake Up The Draft

Less than two weeks until the 2013 NFL draft, we are in an unusual situation: the draft board has not gotten a whole lot clearer than it was a few weeks ago. That said, speculation is running more rampant than ever.

In this mock draft, I continued to look at how recent trades and free-agent signings have affected teams’ draft strategies, while projecting four possible first-round trades that shook up the draft order.

The New England Patriots are among the teams in a different situation in this mock draft. With the Patriots likely to be giving up their third-round draft pick for wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, they would address their position of greatest need but also lose a valuable selection, leaving them without any picks in Rounds 3-6. With just two picks in the 2013 NFL draft before Round 7, the Patriots are among the teams who could make a deal before making any picks at all.

Johnthan Banks 2013 NFL Draft

Johnthan Banks could be the next addition to the New England Patriots’ secondary.

The 2013 NFL Draft is officially less than a month away, and more than two weeks into NFL free agency, the pace of signings has slowed down considerably even though they are still some very significant veteran players available on the market.

The complexion of the draft’s picture, however, has continued to change as the draft becomes closer into sight. Notably, a fantastic pro day for Utah defensive lineman Star Lotulelei, and a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Kansas City Chiefs are seeking a trade for left tackle Branden Albert, make it appear as though the No. 1 pick debate is back to where it was a few weeks ago: between Lotulelei and Texas A&M left tackle Luke Joeckel.

My latest mock draft incorporates all the combine results and latest transactions around the league. Free agency is two weeks away and once it opens team needs will change dramatically. As it stands today, the draft is gaining a little more clarity as we now have an idea or who could be the first overall pick in the draft.

However, at this point in the draft process it’s still an entire educated guess as to who goes where. Here is my best shot.
