2012 NFL Draft Target: Joe Adams Interview

Wednesday, March 14th, 2012

Joe Adams is one of the most electric players in this year’s draft. Adams took time out of his busy training schedule to talk with NEPD’s Mike Loyko. Among the topics discussed were Joe’s athleticism and the decision to play CB or WR.

Joe touched on his relationship with former Arkansas QB and current New England Patriots QB Ryan Mallett. Adams also talked about coming from a pro style offense at Arkansas, what kind of route tree was he asked to run and what kind of adjustment will he need to make to be successful in the NFL.

Joe also breaks down his most memorable moment at Arkansas, his electric punt return against Tennessee. Here is the full interview:

Why would former Mississippi State DL Fletcher Cox fit the Patriots so well?

NEPD Editor: Doug Kyed

Will Doug ever stop writing about Marvin Jones? Will the Patriots trade up for once? Is Mike Wallace a player the Patriots would be interested in?

Those are some of the questions I’ll be answering in my weekly “Too Long For Twitter” Friday mailbag where I take questions from Twitter that warrant, deserve or need answers longer than 140 characters

If you have a question about anything, tweet it to me @DougKyed, and I’ll try to include it in the column on Friday. If you aren’t on Twitter, feel free to throw in a question in the comments section.

Fletcher Cox NFL Draft

Is Fletcher Cox a good fit for the Patriots defense?

NEPD Editor: James Christensen

Sometimes the best way to get over the past is to keep your eyes squarely on the future.

The Patriots are loaded with four early 2012 NFL draft picks, so they should be able to move around and get exactly what they are looking for.

With than in mind, New England Patriots fans should check out these six prospects that are a prime fit for what the Patriots like to do on offense and defense.

NEPD Staff Writer: Doug Kyed

With the Senior Bowl week coming to a close, I wanted to gather my thoughts on the week into one concise post.

Besides watching a ton of great football and meeting equally as great scouts and players, there were a lot of players that really opened my eyes down in Mobile, AL and a few players that made me question what I was seeing on tape throughout the year.

I’m going to give you my top players at each position who helped their stock, and one or two that might have fallen a little bit.
