The Patriots have a 1:00pm kickoff against the Tennessee Titans to start the 2012 NFL season. The game will be televised on CBS, called by Jim Nantz and Phil Simms.

Patriots vs Raiders: Inactive Analysis

Aaron Hernandez, Sebastian Vollmer, Leigh Bodden, Ras-I Dowling, Albert Haynesworth, and Mike Wright were all ruled out prior to the game due to injuries.

Ryan Mallett is expected to be the final inactive declared by the Patriots. (Update: Mallett has been confirmed inactive)

After an incredible recovery from knee surgery, all signs point to a return to game action against the St. Louis Rams in the Patriots 3rd preseason game.

Expect Ben-Jarvus Green-Ellis to see extended playing time following his hard running against the Titans and the fact that Taylor/Morris are inactive.

Brandon Tate and Mark Levoir are both active on the 45-man roster and should see some playing time with Julian Edelman and Matt light out.

The Patriots continue to put their faith behind 6th-round DT Myron Pryor, as opposed to 2nd round pick Ron Brace
