Oregon Ducks defensive end/outside linebacker Dion Jordan has been one of the most frequently-discussed prospects in the 2013 NFL Draft thus far; there’s a lot to like about Jordan, but he is also more of a projection than most of other top pass rushers in this year’s class. Would Jordan, a prospect whose ultimate draft position will be heavily influenced by his Combine results, fit in New England, and ultimately, will the Patriots even have a chance to select him in April?

Two of the top ten scoring offenses in the league will meet tonight in what should be among the most exciting bowls of the year. However, it’s the defensive prospects in the game – including Kansas State linebacker Arthur Brown and Oregon pass rusher Dion Jordan – who are most intriguing. Brown is poised to be selected in the second round or so, while Jordan’s size and length should earn him a spot in the draft’s first twenty picks. Of course, there are a handful of other prospects who will find themselves under scrutiny from NFL scouts tonight; read on for more information.

The college football is winding down close to its end, but there are still six remaining teams, all from different conferences, who are still undefeated. All six of these teams — Alabama, Oregon, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Louisville — have players who will be getting paid to play football on Sundays in 2013, which is part of the reason why each has yet to lose a game this season.

The amount of NFL talent on each team varies. Alabama is an NFL factory, with multiple potential first-round picks on both sides of the ball just one year removed from having five players selected in the top 35 picks of the 2013 NFL draft. On the other end of the spectrum, a team such as Louisville has no top 2013 prospects, but has players such as sophomore quarterback Teddy Bridgewater who could be very high selections in 2014.

Regardless of the total talent on each team, the following article takes a look at the players who rates as the potential 2013 NFL draft prospect for each team.

Oregon Duck and 2013 NFL Draft prospect Dion Jordan started his football journey at Chandler High School in Arizona. In High School he played tight end and defensive end. He was a very good tight end in high school pulling in on average just less than 100 yards receiving per game.

He was on most college recruiter’s lists, until he got in a life threatening accident that almost cost him his life and his football career.

This week Oregon may face their toughest challenge yet as the 3-1 Washington Huskies travel to Eugene in a big Pac-12 showdown. Continue reading to see my thoughts on the top prospects in this game.

Oregon DE/OLB Dion Jordan really impressed on Saturday Night

NEPD Editor: Mike Loyko

It has taken Mike Leach longer than expected to get his offense installed and up to speed at Washington State. This week Leach’s Cougars took on an offense that scores with ease, basically whenever they want to.

This Oregon team is loaded with talented players, who possess NFL caliber speed on both sides of the ball. A lot of attention gets paid to the offense but, the best Oregon prospect might be on their defense. Check out the scouting notes on this Pac-12 showdown.
