Fresh out of the Bye and in to the fire… this week, the New England Patriots (3-1) face off against the Baltimore Ravens (4-1) for the first time since their embarrassing loss to them in the 2009 Playoffs.

The Ravens are tied with the AFC East rival New York Jets for first place in the AFC; a win in Foxboro on Sunday means a piece of that first place pie could belong to the Pats.


Patriots Training Camp: Initial Reactions

The Patriots have now completed three days of training camp, spending half of Saturday in shorts and t-shirts after four full-pad practices on Thursday and Friday. While it is still very early in the development and evaluation process, a few themes have developed.

UPDATE: Brandon Tate has been activated to the 53-man roster and will play on Sunday.

The Patriots have selected Brandon Tate, WR, North Carolina. Brandon is recovering from an ACL/MCL Tear he suffered in October, and also reportedly failed a drug test. Mike Mayock states that Tate won’t play in 2009 due to his injury, but should be primed to compete in 2010.
