Jason Worilds Visits Patriots

Virginia Tech DE/OLB Jason Worilds visited the Patriots today, perhaps marking the last official visit of the NFL Draft season. Teams are not allowed to hold official visits within seven days of the draft.

Worilds’ talent is rarely questioned, as he is truly a disruptive force on the field. His injury concerns, especially a bum shoulder, are cause to worry.

Coach Belichick has stated that most official visits are for medical reasons, and I’m sure this one was no different.

If found to be 100% healthy, Worilds could be a solid 2nd Round pick for a team neading a conversion project at the 3-4 OLB position.

From what I’ve seen of this kid he’s a poor man’s sergio kindle, only he might be more athletic and has a better rush set, injury slowed him down but if you’ve seen him play he’s got some potential.
