NFL Power Rankings Week 7

The 2009 NFL Power Rankings Week Seven edition features a lot of movement at the top and bottom, as there were a few good upsets this week.

The Elite: Any question whether New Orleans or New York deserved to be at #1 was put to rest with an old-school beating delivered at the hands of Drew Brees. The Saints still have three teams nipping on their heels though.

1. New Orleans Saints
2. Indianapolis Colts
3. Minnesota Vikings
4. Denver Broncos
5. New York Giants
6. New England Patriots
7. Cincinnati Bengals
8. Atlanta Falcons

The Contenders: What a terrible showing by the Philadelphia Eagles, beating manhandled by the Raiders was just embarrassing–although not quite as embarrassing as Sanchez’s interception spree.

9. Baltimore Ravens
10. San Francisco 49ers
11. Pittsburgh Steelers
12. New York Jets
13. Philadelphia Eagles
14. Chicago Bears
15. Arizona Cardinals
16. Miami Dolphins

The Wannabes: The Bills showed that they don’t belong in the bottom quadrant, although they still aren’t quite good enough to warrant being any higher.

17. Green Bay Packers
18. San Diego Chargers
19. Dallas Cowboys
20. Houston Texans
21. Buffalo Bills
22. Seattle Seahawks
23. Jacksonville Jaguars
24. Carolina Panthers

Al Davis and Friends:
The Titans are a very bad football team, and may god have mercy on their souls.

25. Oakland Raiders
26. Cleveland Browns
27. Kansas City Chiefs
28. Washington Redskins
29. Detroit Lions
30. Tennessee Titans
31. Tampa Bay Bucs
32. St. Louis Rams
