NFL Draft: Kevin O'Connell

While Tom Brady won’t be involved, there will be a QB controversy this year in Patriots training camp. Matt Cassell and Kevin O’Connell of SDSU will go head-to-head to be Brady’s backup. Matt Guttierez could still be the number three, but he or Cassell will either get traded or released during camp.

O’Connell (6’5″, 225) is a great QB prospect that is light on his feet and has good vision to go along with a good arm. His speed (4.6) and agility is so good in fact, that speculation has already started that Belichick may use him as a H-back or WR/TE that is a threat to throw at times.
