You wait all year, and just like that it’s gone. Another full college football regular season has passed us by, and what a season it was. But no time for reminiscing, we’ll save that for February…or next week. Nonetheless, there‚Äôs a huge slate of games on Conference Championship Saturday in college football which will effect who ultimately plays in the four team college football playoff. Let’s quickly highlight where the committee has the top teams ranked in the country.

#1 Alabama – up next #16 Missouri: No brainer here. Alabama has proven all year long that they in fact are the best team in the country with their lone loss coming on the road at then undefeated Ole Miss. The Tide is loaded with NFL prospects, and should hear at least two names come off the board in the top 10 next spring (Amari Cooper & Landon Collins). (more…)

Some weekends just have a playoff feel to them, and week 12 is certainly one of them. Teams are playing a game of musical chairs for one of the playoff spots, while prospects are running out of time to build their resumes for the 2015 NFL draft. Week 12 has two mammoth SEC match ups, in which all four teams playing all have a realistic shot at the playoffs. Will you be camped in front of a television Saturday? I know I will.
