I always get a little nervous before Jets games. All the talking, all the drama, I just want it to be game time all week. So now it’s almost here.

Antonio Cromartie wants Brady to throw at him, Santonio Holmes thinks our defense sucks and Aaron Hernandez, well Aaron Hernandez just doesn’t want some story floating around in a New York paper about how he could beat Darrelle Revis.

So where does that all leave us? Right back to where we started. The Patriots were only able to take one out of three last year from the Jets and somehow with all the additions we made, our defense might look worse than last year.

Welker A No-Go for Preseason Opener

Wes Welker is among those not dressed for tonight’s preseason game against the New Orleans Saints.

After an incredible recovery from knee surgery, all signs point to a return to game action against the St. Louis Rams in the Patriots 3rd preseason game.

Wes Welker Will Avoid PUP List

UDPATE: Welker was placed on the active-PUP list on Tuesday. Mike Reiss states that it is a  ”procedural thing” and shouldn’t be looked at as bad news for Welker.

According to The Sports Hub on 98.5, Wes Welker has been cleared to be a “full participant in training camp”, which will start on Thursday for veterans. Welker still has to pass an official physical to begin practice, although sources state that they expect him to receive that clearance.

It’s now June in 2010 – after three seasons, many feel that one can accurately assess the success of a particular NFL Draft class. When a certain group of fans and media pundits look back at the 2007 NFL Draft for the New England Patriots, many see one of the worst drafts in history.  We are not members of that group.  Here are some notes on how each of the picks ended up.
