The sigh of relief from John Elway’s office once Peyton Manning announced he’ll make another go of it can be heard from the Rocky Mountains all the way to the East Coast.

Elway has done a nice job of building a formidable team behind Manning to compete for championships, but that would have all been for not after three Ring-less seasons and an abysmal showing in the divisional round vs Manning’s old stomping grounds Indianapolis.

The Broncos have been active players in the Free Agency market over the last few years, and have built a championship caliber team around Manning.  To understand their offseason this year and beyond, you must understand their 2014 offseason. (more…)

The final day of padded Senior Bowl practice wrapped up today and it was another physical, competitive affair. As is the case with every Senior Bowl practice there was a lot of information to gather and lots of interesting observations. Through three practices scouts have been able to get an in depth look at many prospects and some have really made the most of their opportunity. Here’s what happend at the North Practice and what stood out to me.

The 2015 Senior Bowl kicks off Tuesday in Mobile, Alabama signaling the official start to NFL Draft Season and I’ll be down there providing as much coverage as possible. As is the case every year, this game and week of practice is loaded with future NFL starters. All 32 NFL teams will migrate to Southern Alabama in hopes of finding the next Russell Wilson, Jamie Collins, or Kyle Long.

This game only invites the cream of the crop to participate in the festivities, meaning that every player that shows up has a legitimate shot to make a name for themselves in the NFL. Here are 32 prospects in particular I’ll be keeping a close eye on next week in Mobile.
