2012 Senior Bowl: Cordy Glenn Interview

If you weren’t aware of who Cordy Glenn (OL, Georgia) was before this week, the talented former Bulldog certainly announced his presence at the Senior Bowl Weigh-In. Measuring in at over 6’5″ and 348 pounds while sporting 35″ arms and 10″ hands makes a lot of people take notice.

NEPD writer Doug Kyed had the opportunity to chat with Cordy after Friday’s walkthrough practice. Glenn talked about where he feels most comfortable playing, his experience so far at the Senior Bowl, and his goals for this spring.

Glenn is currently ranked on both our 2012 NFL Draft offensive tackle and guard rankings.


2012 Senior Bowl: AJ Jenkins Interview

We first really took notice of Illinois WR AJ Jenkins while scouting at the Northwestern vs Illinois game. He lit up the Wildcats that day, and will hope to do the same as an injury addition to the Senior Bowl.

After walkthroughs on Friday, AJ spent some time with NEPD Writer Mike Loyko.

Jenkins talks about what NFL teams have asked him to improve on, how his senior year was different at Illinois, and what he would bring to an NFL team.

Jenkins is currently our 13th ranked receiver for the 2012 NFL Draft.

Here are my position by position rankings of Prospects at the Senior Bowl. These rankings are based off of performance this week and where they might end up in my final rankings.

These rankings are subject to change by the end of the week, but through four full days of practice this is how I have the players slotted. I will finalize a list on Saturday night after the game.

2012 Senior Bowl: Marvin McNutt

Marvin McNutt (WR, Iowa) has certainly come a long way since being a backup quarterback to now Kansas City Chief Ricky Stanzi.

He talked with the NEPD writer Doug Kyed about the little things, the best cornerback he has faced all year, and talked about how he might time in the 40-yard dash.

McNutt is currently our #8 wide receiver.


2012 Senior Bowl: Quinton Coples Interview

If Janoris Jenkins has been the best defensive back, Quinton Coples (DE, North Carolina) has certainly been in the running with Courtney Upshaw as the best defensive lineman.

Coples has been nearly unblockable at times, although NEPD writer Doug Kyed was able to shut him down long enough to ask him a few questions.

Coples, our #1 defensive end prospect, talks about his versatility, his last year at North Carolina, and the funniest guy at the Senior Bowl.


2012 Senior Bowl: Janoris Jenkins Interview

Putting any questions of rustiness due to his time at D2 North Alabama aside, Janoris Jenkins has had an incredible Senior Bowl week.

Speaking with NEPD writer Doug Kyed, Jenkins talked about his transition from Florida to North Alabama to the Senior Bowl, what he is out to prove this week, and the toughest receiver he has faced this week.

Jenkins is currently our #3 cornerback for the 2012 NFL Draft.


2012 Senior Bowl: Joe Adams Interview

Joe Adams, the former Arkansas Razorback pass-catcher, is not just a receiver – he had two of the most incredible punt returns for a touchdown we’ve ever seen this year that. That said, he certainly has shown that he belongs on the field for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd downs as well this week at the Senior Bowl.

Adams was kind enough to chat with NEPD writer Mike Loyko, who couldn’t say enough nice things about him.

He is currently our 13th ranked receiver, but his versatility may vault him into the top ten on a lot of draft boards.
