Our editor Mike Loyko has been down in Mobile all week, taking a look at the top senior prospects that college football had to offer. During the game (4pm EST, NFL Network), he’ll be adding his thoughts and notes from the press box of Ladd-Peebles stadium.

Last year’s Senior Bowl feature five Quarterbacks who went on to start games in the NFL this past season, including rookie sensation Russell Wilson. Last year’s game also included a little known back from Florida Atlantic who went on to rush for 1600 yards this season.
The next generation of stars are always there to be found and this year will be no different. There is a very solid group of skill position players and a group of Quarterbacks who will be fighting for position on NFL teams draft boards.

The Senior Bowl starts this week and I will be flying down there tomorrow to bring you the most comprehensive coverage I can. NEPD kicks off our Senior Bowl coverage with a player by player preview of who will be playing in the game and what they have to gain this week.
We start with the defense today and I must say it’s a more impressive group than last year, with a lot of players I am anxious to evaluate in person.

It is time for the annual pilgrimage down to Mobile for scouts and prospects alike. The Senior Bowl is where the top talent shows up to apply for the first round of the NFL Draft.
Tonight I’ll take a look at some of the top prospects for the Patriots that will be showcasing their talents at the 2013 Senior Bowl.

After researching what the Patriots might look for when drafting for the secondary yesterday, I took a look at all of the defensive backs down at the Senior Bowl this year to see who the Patriots might have been most interested in.
