Sanders' great play against the Colts in 2010 will be our lasting memory of his play in New England.
The Patriots parted ways with veteran safety James Sanders today, in a move that clears nearly $3 million in cap space. Sanders totaled eight interceptions and over 300 tackles during his six seasons with the Patriots.
Also notable among the releases were long-snapper Matt Katula, 7th-Round pick Malcolm Williams, and cornerback Jonathan Wilhite.
Signed by the Patriots were wide-receiver Tiquan Underwood, long-snapper James Dearth, and former Patriot WR/DB Ross Ventrone. More on Underwood after the jump.
