Trainers were seen working on Mayo’s left knee, and Mayo was seen flexing the knee and walking with a slight limp.

Reports state that Mayo has a sprained MCL (grade 3) and is likely to miss 6-8 weeks, although conflicting reports have stated that the situation is not that dire. Bill Belichick expressed earlier that Mayo didn’t have a season-ending injury, and these reports seem to confirm that.

We can’t wait to see our defensive leader back on the field, he was sorely missed against the Bills.
