This year’s Gator Bowl features an overachieving Northwestern team and a Mississippi State team that has had a nice year competing in the difficult SEC. The game features one of the best defensive backs in the 2013 NFL Draft as well as a couple other players that might interest the Patriots and other NFL teams as the draft season kicks into full gear.
The game is usually one of the most entertaining New Year’s Day Bowl games and while this year’s matchup isn’t exciting on paper it should be a good game.
