Tonight marks the fourth and final preseason game for the 2012 Patriots. There’s still plenty of storylines to solve before the final cutdowns on Friday night and those roster bubble players will be who we’re watching the closest.

For the casual fan, the biggest question may be, will Tom Brady be playing? Here are ten things we’re looking for tonight.

Patriots Roster Projection: Version 5.0

Can Brandon Bolden sneak onto the roster?

NEPD Editor: Mike Loyko

The Patriots have their final dress rehearsal tonight against the Giants. It will be the last chance for players on the bubble to make this team or practice squad. The team was cut down to 75 earlier in the week, during which some solid veteran players were released. The roster has gotten a little clearer, but there still a couple things that have yet to sort themselves out. Who makes the cut this time and who will be looking for a job on Friday?

I made a comment in my latest Patriots roster projection that a lot of Patriots fans took umbrage with. That statement was that Shane Vereen COULD be on the roster bubble.

I’ve been waiting six months to be able to write this column again and let me tell you, it was a joy to watch a Patriots game again.

Even though it was a lowly preseason game, I’ve watched every snap three or four times now and I feel like I’ve fully dissected the action. There were good and bad things to take away from the 7-6 win, but today I’ll concentrate on all the good things.

My six keys to victory after the jump.

The New England Patriots enter the season well-stocked with talent; unfortunately, only 53 of their players are eligible to make the opening day roster. A number of the players on roster are eligible for the practice squad, however, in what is expected to be a cutthroat competition.

This article will examine the players most deserving of practice squad spots, along with other practice-squad eligible players who may be able to oust some of the competition for a space.

NEPD Mailbag: UDFA Edition

Friday, May 11th, 2012

What are Forston's chances to make the 53 man roster this fall?

NEPD Editor: Doug Kyed

I’m not going to lie to you guys, somehow the fact that I write a mailbag column every Friday completely spaced my mind this week.

It’s a product of the offseason and how much I’m currently concentrating on the 2013 draft class, but that’s no excuse.

Luckily, I got one very good question on the Patriots undrafted free agents.
