After previewing the ACC draft prospects last week, our sites took a look at the MAC this week.

Although the MAC doesn’t get a lot of national attention on Saturdays, there are some legitimate prospects for the 2013 NFL Draft.

Last week we kicked off our comprehensive conference breakdowns with the Atlantic Coast Conference, which has produced consistent high draft picks and NFL talent.

I came into this game ready to watch Purdue defensive lineman Kawaan Short, but I had trouble keeping my eyes off the play of Western Michigan quarterback Alex Carder.

Purdue’s defense had his way with him at times, but Carder hung tough in what was ultimately a losing effort.
