We first really took notice of Illinois WR AJ Jenkins while scouting at the Northwestern vs Illinois game. He lit up the Wildcats that day, and will hope to do the same as an injury addition to the Senior Bowl.
After walkthroughs on Friday, AJ spent some time with NEPD Writer Mike Loyko.
Jenkins talks about what NFL teams have asked him to improve on, how his senior year was different at Illinois, and what he would bring to an NFL team.
Jenkins is currently our 13th ranked receiver for the 2012 NFL Draft.

Here are four intriguing prospects to watch this week at the East-West Shrine Game. We’ll be bringing you updates all week on what we’re hearing from practice.
NEPD Writers Doug Kyed and Mike Loyko will be in Mobile, Alabama next week for the Senior Bowl, so we’ll have even more coverage of that event.

If you were looking for UCLA 2012 NFL Draft prospects in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, you might still be hungry. Luckily, Illinois had some nice future NFL players on display.
In a pretty ugly Big 10 game, it was much prettier to watch the 2012 NFL Draft prospects than some of the actual plays unfolding on your screen.
Here is what we saw out of the Buckeyes and Illini.
