Tight End has been the position of conversation in New England ever since the team invested two relatively high picks in the 2010 NFL Draft selecting Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.  Tight End continues to be a big topic of discussion, as the Patriots made headlines this morning when they released youngster Tim Wright.

It may have caught some people as a surprise this morning as the Patriots moved on from 25 year old Tim Wright.  The former Rutgers’ product was acquired in the Logan Mankins trade last season, and caught six touchdowns last year for the Patriots.  (more…)

There may not be a more intriguing team to watch Thursday night then Gang Green. The Jets have filled some needs in Free Agency as they have been Busy Bees’ this offseason, I’m sure you may have heard.

Last season, New England left Free Agency big winners after Aqib Talib ditched as they acquired Darrelle Revis and later received a 2015 3rd round compensatory pick for the Talib departure. I would argue the big winner in this scenario isn’t the Jets, but Darrelle Revis himself.

The Jets have done much more than just acquire #24 however. (more…)

Can the $114 million DT lead Miami to a division crown?

Can the $114 million DT lead Miami to a division crown?

Few teams have been busier this offseason than the Miami Dolphins.   The Dolphins have wheeled and dealed, as well as mortgage the farm in the process for some immediate success.

The crown jewel of the 2015 Free Agency class, Ndamukong Suh, bolted the Motor City for South Beach inking a cool six year $114,375,000 contract.  I expect Suh to have an obvious and immediate impact on the defensive front, making an already solid defensive front one of the best in the league.

That wasn’t the Fins’ best move this offseason though, not even close.  (more…)
