Now that the combine is in the past, we have legitimate measurables and a better understanding of where NFL coaches and GM’s project the 2011 prospects to play at the next level.
With that in mind, expect a major shake-up in this edition of our Patriots NFL Mock Draft.
2011 NFL Combine Thoughts

Ah, the glorified meat-market that is the NFL Combine. Where hype springs eternal, and common sense goes to die. There will be 4.3′s and 4.5′s. There will be verticals jumped, cones ran, and pads smacked.
After all is said and done though, the most important part of the combine might be done with a tape measure and a voice recorder.

Yesterday, we gave you our Top 5 OL for the entire NFL Draft. However, the Patriots needs are very different than other NFL teams. They just don’t take those waist-bending 350-pound player, mostly preferring to select somewhat leaner blockers.
With Matt Light and Logan Mankins both uncertain to return, expect the offensive line to get a lot of attention this off-season.
