He just would not be able to play in Denver, like the Steeler’s safety in round 1 of the playoffs, Clark I think.

Jones can definitely stretch the field. He can’t do one thing elite like Wallace can, but he has the potential to be a more complete player which is what the Patriots need.

I’m not that high on the potential for Wallace to the Patriots. His best route is a go route, and Brady’s worst throw is a go route.

The Patriots need a player who can go up and fight for the ball on deep routes. I’m not sure if Wallace can do that.

I agree with your assessment of Wallaces talent, but we will never get a second for Hoyer.

Dan Connolly is bigger (height and weight) than Dan Koppen, and the last couple of years they have BOTH shown that they can be overpowered. I love Koppen and when we drafted him I told all of my friends that Woddy had better not miss any snaps because Koppen would not give him his job back…and that’s exactly what happened! Decent looking mock, and I believe some team will “panic” and overdraft Tannehill like with Locker and Ponder last year, but it won’t be Seattle. I know mocking trades is tough, but I can virtually guarantee Seattle will be doing everything humanly possible to trade down from 11/12 to get more picks. If Robinson is still on the board, I could defintely see Cincy trading up from 23 (their 2nd first round pick) to nab him, and then hope DeCastro or Wright are there at 17. Seattle would probably do that for Cincy’s 2nd and 3rd rounders (a discount).

I would totally love to see Mike Wallace “stolen” from Rapelisberger or Desean Jackson become a true Pats deep threat!! Might as well book a flight to the Super Bowl if this happens!!

Heard Russ Lunde say on Sirius NFL that the most important thing is the physicals, which is what the combine was first meant for.

He also said that the drills help substantiate or uncover athletic ability to a point of the small school players and possibly help them get drafted.

Also, Immagine the monster Poe next to wilfork. Imagine soldier’s development next to konz. Imagine Paige and Jones living up to their potential. Plus this whole draft idea is not considering what the pats will do with all their cap room for FA’s. Also i’m not from Boise(not even a fan), I just think in the 4th that Shea and Moore have a lot of potential.
