2013 NFL Scouting Combine: DL, LB Video Analysis

NFL Combine Vert

How did the defensive front seven perform?

NEPD Editor: Mike Loyko

A busy day in the life of a Patriots and NFL Draft analyst! Day three of the combine is in the books and I’m here to break down all the results from the defensive linemen and linebackers. On a whole it’s the most talented position group in the upcoming draft, so it was a fun day to watch. We saw a lot of edge rushers, check off boxes they needed to and we saw some players really disappoint.

All that and a lot more in my latest combine wrap-up video.

Thanks Mike great report, Was little disappointed with DaVonte Hollomans 40 at 4.7 but he has added wieght at 243. I still like his coverage ability having played SS . Sio Moore is nearly the same size as Holloman and ran better, bench was better, and I will be watching more tape on this guy for ability to rop/cover.
Also liked Brandon Williams 38 on the bench, as he moves up my board, to someone the Patriots may target, as he showed well at the senior bowl.
Also like Datone Jones, at 285 very powerful guy, who is more than just an edge rusher.
I’m not sure if the Patriots draft a LBer, I think we need depth there, and a faster guy for coverage, but ????
