Big 12: Ten Year Conference Case Study

POSITIONAL BREAKDOWN

Here, I broke down the total number of players drafted at each position from Big 12 schools vs. the total number of players drafted at each position total year by year.

Finally I created a tally for each position with Big 12 players drafted per position vs. total draft picks per position to see what position the Big 12 churned out the most and least over the last ten years.

Players drafted from Big 12/players drafted total:

QB: 16/128 = 12.5%
RB: 27/223 = 12.1%
WR: 36/324 = 11.1%
TE: 16/147 = 10.9%
OL: 49/432 = 11.3%
DL: 52/450 = 11.6%
LB: 34/302 = 11.3%
CB: 37/310 = 11.9%
S: 18/192 = 9.38%
K: 4/21 = 19%
P: 2/22 = 9.09%
