Independent week and Independence day – quite a fun time. Our NFL Draft sites have already taken a look at the 2013 NFL Draft prospects in the Big Ten, the ACC, Conference USA and the MAC.

This week, we broke down the independent schools: Notre Dame, BYU, Army and Navy.

Mike Loyko listed the top senior prospects, including two Notre Dame defenders.

Matt Elder from BuffaloBillsDraft.com looked at some sleeper prospects including Romney Fuga, a big nose tackle prospect from BYU.

Eric Galko from MiamiDolphinsDraft.com projected the top junior prospects for the 2013 NFL Draft from the independent ranks. Two dynamic offensive prospects from Notre Dame led the way.

Jason Madson from KCChiefsDraft.com made a case for why a couple of Notre Dame and BYU prospects are overrated.

As always, Doug Kyed presented his research detailing the last ten years of draft prospects from Notre Dame and the other independents.

We’ll be back next week looking at the prospects from the Big East. Here is the rest of the summer’s schedule:

7/16-7/20-Mountain West
7/23-7/27-PAC 12
7/30-8/3-Sun Belt
8/6-8/10-Big 12
8/13-8/17-WAC
8/20-8/24-SEC
