  1. Matt Wincherauk says:

Awesome idea! Think it worked well when the dedicated ones showed up. Thanks for doing this.

  2. Michael says:

    Yeah cheers Mike.

  3. Daniel B says:

Only way to go is up, Pats fans.

  4. Daniel B says:

Thanks for running this, Mike. And thanks, everybody, for your participation.

  5. Mike Loyko says:

I want to thank everyone for participating It was alot of fun … I think we can label this post the Patriots Worst Case Draft Scenario haha

  6. Mike Loyko says:

The Oakland Raiders select Demario Davis, LB, Arkansas State

  7. Mike Loyko says:

And.. with the last two picks in the draft the NYG Select Antonio Allen, S , South Carolina

  8. Mike Loyko says:

Alright times up.. The New England Patriots select Chris Givens, WR, Wake Forest

  9. Tim says:

92nd pick 49ers select Alfonzo Dennard
Got arrested today, 5 days before the draft, so he might fall substantially but if I could get him in the 3rd, thats not bad.

  10. Chris Field says:

With the 91st pick, the Baltimore Ravens select Brandon Brooks, G, Miami (OH)

  11. AlexMullen4180 says:

With the 90th pick, the Green Bay Packers select Derek Wolfe, DE, Cincinnati

  12. Mike Loyko says:

Packers, Ravens, 49ers, Patriots, Giants.. Raiders(comp)

  13. Mike Loyko says:

The New Orleans Saints Select Jonathan Massaquoi, OLB, Troy

  14. Daniel B says:

The real draft is going to be very fun this year. A lot of great players and deep positions.

  15. Mike Loyko says:

The Philadelphia Eagles Select TY Hilton, WR, Florida International

  16. Jim says:

The Dolphins leave the #NEPDMock draft with Ryan Tannehill QB, Vinny Curry OLB/DE, Zebrie Sanders OT, Tommy Streeter WR, as well as the Broncos 2013 3rd rounder. As a Pats fan, I would hate to see Curry twice a year.

  17. Jim says:

With the 87th pick in the Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Tommy Streeter, WR, Miami. Dolphins get a player with tons of upside.

They also pick up the Broncos 2013 3rd rounder.

  18. Zane Penton says:

The steelers select Bernard Pierce, RB, Temple

  19. Jim says:

The Titans leave the #NEPDMock draft with Michael Brockers DT, Jayron Hosley CB, and Tony Bergstrom OG. All three should start in 2012.

  20. Mike Loyko says:

Pittsburgh, Miami, Philadelphia and then the Saints

  21. Daniel B says:

The Lions get DE Nick Perry, OT Mitchell Schwartz, and G/C Philip Blake in the first three rounds. They can get a corner or two, a running back, a wide receiver, or a developmental QB later.

  22. Daniel B says:

With the 85th pick, the Detroit Lions select C/G Philip Blake, Baylor.

He’s not the most polished center, but Brewster, Jones, and Molk are too similar to the smaller Raiola. Blake can start out as a run-blocking guard, then move to center. He has a lot of experience in the shotgun, which we run often.

  23. Will Harrigan says:

    A.J. Jenkins WR Illinois

  24. Andrew Smith says:

The Cincinnati Bengals select Matt McCants, OL, UAB

  25. Mike Loyko says:

Bengals, Falcons, Lions, Steelers up next

  26. Jim says:

With the 82nd pick in the draft the Titans select Tony Bergstrom, G/T, Utah.

The Titans need OL help and Bergstrom projects as a nasty, physical run blocking guard. CJ2K will like this pick.

  27. Thomas George says:

Cowboys w/ 81st Pick: Markelle Martin (FS, Oklahoma State)

Now that I’m home and off IPhone, here’s a quick summary of my draft today:

    Needs: Interior O-line, Secondary

Preview: During offeseason, Cowboys made some upgrades. As a result, they have some flexibility and have the ability to make some “luxury” picks. Cowboys come into the draft with an interesting pick in the middle position. There is a ton of “equal” players in this range, and it would not surprise me to to see the Cowboys move around (ala Belichick).

Round 1: Dontari Poe (DT, Memphis)
-Physical specimen that Rob Ryan can use at NT.
-A little raw, but his physical strength and speed is too much to pass.
-I know we need help at safety, but I’m not as high on Barron as most. One way of helping secondary is improving Front 7.
-Had D. Decastro (G, Stanford) still been on board, it’d have been between him and Poe.

Round 2: Josh Robinson (CB, UCF)
-A little raw, but we’ve got two decent CB’s on roster so he can develop this year and maybe start next yr (left Jenkins walk?)
-Adds depth at DB (last yr was catastrophic)
-Could help in return game (keep Dez off special teams)

Round 3: Markelle Martin (FS, Oklahoma State)
-We need depth/help in secondary…enough said
-Was going Ronnell Martin, but he got picked right before my pick. I wouldn’t expect him to fall that far in real draft.

With our two Round 4 picks, I’d target G [B. Books (Miami of Ohio), W. Blackwell (LSU), & B. Washington (Miami) & C [B. Jones (Georgia), P. Blake (Baylor), M. Brewster (Ohio State)]

Round 5, I target a falling skill/special player (like R. Broyles (OU) or L. James (Oregon) or C. Harris (Oregon or V. Burfict (LB, Arizona State))

  28. Michael says:

Arizona Cardinals select Ronnell Lewis, OLB, Oklahoma. He can compete with Sam Acho and O’Brien Schofield for playing time. Combined with Luke Kuechly and Darryl Washington it gives the Cards a nice young linebacking corps.

    • Thomas George says:

Got to be kidding me…I just wrote this for my pick haha

Round 3: Ronnel Lewis (OLB, Oklahoma)
-Could look good across from Ware.
-Also could allow us to get rid of Spencer or keep Spencer and have Lewis understudy to become 2013 Starter.

  29. Mike Loyko says:

Chicago.. Arizona.. Dallas.. were in the home stretch lets finish this

  30. Rich Falls says:

Bears select WR Greg Childs, Arkansas 2 years ago Childs would of been a top 20 pick. Because of injuries and circumstances outside his control he has fallen off the radar. Now he is fully healthy and outside Blackmon, Floyd, and Wright has the most complete skill set at 6’3 212 and runs in the 4.4’s. Has a great catching radius and adjusts well to poorly thrown balls. We so far walk away with Riley Reiff, Bobby Wagner, and Greg Childs. I’d be smiling I was Phil Emery.

  31. Derric says:

Sorry, Comp was down. San Diego selects Chris Polk, RB from Washington.

    • Derric says:

Sorry again about the mess up there, but i have had a blast today. thanks for letting me join in!

  32. Michael says:

Casey Heyward is gone but Chris Givens is a good pick

  33. Dean Barker says:

Casey Hayward hasnt gone for SD or Chris Givens ?

  34. Mike Loyko says:

I dont think San Diego is coming.. someone can make the pick

  35. Mike Loyko says:

    San Diego is up

  36. Mike Loyko says:

New York Jets select Brandon Taylor, S, LSU

  37. Mike Loyko says:

Houston Texans select Jeff Allen, OT, Illinois

  38. @Jason_Madson says:

The Chiefs left the #NEPDMock with DeCastro, Weeden and Chapman. If the real draft works this way thru 3, I would be a very happy Chiefs fan.

  39. Dean Barker says:

With the 75th pick the Seattle Seahawks select Marvin Jones WR California

  40. Mike Loyko says:

Kansas City, Seattle, Houston, Jets, Chargers .. let go

  41. Daniel B says:

    Wow, that’s tough.

  42. @Jason_Madson says:

With the 74th pick in the #NEPDMock, the Kansas City Chiefs select Josh Chapman NT Alabama.

  43. Jim says:

I messaged the GM and apparently, he’s not online

  44. GSeumalo says:

    Pick: 73rd
    Team: Denver Broncos
    Selection: Brandon Thompson
    – Wanted to move up early to snatch one of the possible 2nd round CBs and for some reason 5 out of the 9 picks before me were all CBs in consideration. Thanks for that. Considered Alfonzo Dennard but chose to go w/ stronger interior presence on D-Line. WRs too deep to waste this trade up and couldn’t decide if Osweiler or Cousins was worth it.

  45. Daniel B says:

Are they seriously gonna trade up, and then not pick?

  46. Mike Loyko says:

    30 seconds

  47. @Jason_Madson says:

Come on Denver! You make a trade, then no show for the pick?

  48. @Jason_Madson says:

2 minute warning for the Donkeys.

  49. Daniel B says:

Let’s see who the Broncos traded up for. A QB?

    • @Jason_Madson says:

I bet they traded up for my guy.

      • Jim says:

I’m hoping the guy i wanted at 73 slides to 87. Risky play, but a 3rd next year was worth it. Needed to get Sanders to play RT

        • @Jason_Madson says:

That is kinda risky, especially if you wanted him. Hard to tell if you will want the guy in the 3rd next year.

  50. Jim says:

With 72nd pick in the Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Zebrie Sanders. OT Florida State. He’s played both RT and LT so he gives the Dolphins some OL flexibility

  51. Matt Wincherauk says:

With the 71st pick, the Buffalo Bills select, Casey Hayward, CB, Vanderbilt.

    • Daniel B says:

Steal. I was hoping he’d drop to me. He could have easily gone in the second.

      • Matt Wincherauk says:

Wasn’t to sure what to do. Felt like he was a steal and the top rated CB left IMO. good to see someone else thinks its a steal.

  52. Michael says:

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Juron Criner, WR, Arizona

  53. Mike Loyko says:

Jacksonville, Buffalo, Miami, Miami the next four

  54. Mike Loyko says:

Washington Redskins select Dwight Bentley, CB, Lousiana Lafayette

  55. Mike Loyko says:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Select Orson Charles, TE, Georgia .. hometown kid went to Plante HS in Tampa

  56. Omar Gómez says:

The Bucaneers select Jeff Allen OT Illinois.
This is great value because Allen could be easily selected in the second round. Jeremy Trueblood is one of the worst tackles in football and he has to be upgraded. Jeff Allen’s versatility gives him the nod over Zebrie Sanders.

  57. Jim says:

The Dolphins are trading pick #73 to the Broncos for pick # 87 this year and a third rounder next year. Is this acceptable Mike?

  58. Mike Loyko says:

Cleveland selects Jamell Fleming, CB, Oklahoma

  59. Michael says:

Come on Minnesota! Lets keep this moving along……

  60. Matt says:

Vikings Select Trumaine Johnson, CB, Montana

  61. @Jason_Madson says:

Time is up! Let’s go Vikes. Anybody in LA wanna make this pick?

  62. Mike Loyko says:

Minnesota, Cleveland, Tampa Bay are next

  63. Mike Loyko says:

The St. Louis Rams select Brandon Boykin, CB, St.Louis

    • Mark says:

Pats meet a returner as well, and Boykin can provide that. I think after draft day Boykin will be a Patriot

  64. Charles Gustkey says:

With the first pick of the 3rd round, the Indianapolis Colts continue to surround Andrew Luck with weapons and choose Mohamed Sanu, WR, Rutgers. With the lose of Pierre Garçon and an aging Reggie Wayne Sanu is the best available WR.

  65. Chris Field says:

Honestly the Boise State stuff is really funny to me. I agree Tru Johnson shouldn’t have been passed up, but at least I got a laugh today.

That being said, Quandell needs to grab Billy Winn instead of Kellen Moore.

  66. Mike Loyko says:

Actually the Giants pick Dwyane Allen, TE, Clemson.. but this Boise State BS is killing me

  67. @Jason_Madson says:

    On to round 3!

  68. Mike Loyko says:

Giants Pick Billy Winn, DT, Boise State .. Just so Quandrell cant pick him

  69. Michael says:

    Agreed – an awful draft!

  70. James says:

Agreed! Doug Martin too high especially when Ridley and Vereen haven’t had a chance to start and prove themselves yet. Tru Johnson too good to pass up

  71. Mike Loyko says:

The Patriots like Trumaine Johnson as a borderline first rounder.. if he is there at 62.. they shit themselves and then pick him

    • GSeumalo says:

I would be very happy if we can pick up Trumaine Johnson and pair him with Chung. I might be alone in this but I think Trumaine would be better for us than Mark Barron from Alabama.

    • @Jason_Madson says:

Or do they pick him, THEN shit themselves? I could see it go either way.

      • Mike Loyko says:

no they would definitely shit themselves first.. clean themselves up… make the pick and celebrate …. For real though don’t be too surprised if he is one of the Patriots picks in round one

    • Truth Speaker says:

The Patriots like Trumaine Johnson as a borderline first rounder..

How do you know this to be fact. I like him, too. But Im sure BB’s not giving his info to you and Im no one in his office is either. Patriots are Alcatraz-like

  72. Mike Loyko says:

Baltimore, San Francisco, New England, NYG next up

    • Chris Field says:

Ravens, 49ers and Patriots have all picked.

James Michael-Johnson, Jared Crick and George Iloka.

  73. Daniel B says:

Well, Iloka is a more natural FS.

    • Quandell says:

Which the Patriots seriously need to play next to Chung. Also Iloka proved he can fill in at corner.

    • Truth Speaker says:

He’s not a natural FS. He’s closer to Chung and not nearly as good. Huge reach, IMO

  74. Daniel B says:

    Is Kellen Moore next?

  75. Kemicol says:

Not official pick new england trumaine jouhnson to versatile to ignore at this point

  76. Chris Field says:

I wonder if Quandell likes Boise State.

  77. Quandell says:

With the 62 pick, the New England Patriots select George Iloka, S, Boise State

  78. Tim says:

With the 61st pick the 49ers select Jared Crick DE/DT Nebraska.
Similar to Cameron Heyward a year ago, He”ll will sit behind a veteran D-line then take over for Justin Smith in a few years.

  79. Chris Field says:

With the 60th pick, the Baltimore Ravens select James Michael-Johnson, inside linebacker, Nevada.

  80. AlexMullen4180 says:

With the 59th pick, The Green Bay Packers select Bruce Irvin, OLB, West Virginia.

  81. Mike Loyko says:

Houston Selects Alameda Ta’amu, NT, Washington

  82. GSeumalo says:

    Pick: 57th
    Team: Denver Broncos
    Selection: Lamar Miller
    – Explosive runner capable of taking it to the house on every touch. Will have to improve in the passing game, but is a nice addition in the no huddle.

  83. Zane Penton says:

With the 56th pick, the Pittsburgh Steelers select: Amini Silatolu, OG, Midwestern St.

  84. tomb says:

who is draftin for the patriots…… srsly need to think it over again.

    • Jim says:

I hated the RB pick, but love the rest. Iloka in late 2nd or 3rd makes this a great draft. Expect the Doug Martin pick to be traded

      • tomb says:

yea i dont get that one we already have 2 brand new Rb on the team whats the point of adding another one…… also could have grabbed two pretty good DE in the first round back to back Chandler Jones, DE, Syracuse and
        Whitner Mercilus, DE, Illinois

or hell even jenkins would have been a good 1st rd pick. like always pats get beat by the packers in the draft( and yes i know it a mock) 🙂

Shea McClellin i like the kid but he is not a 1st round material. dude will be available in the 2nd round

  85. Will Harrigan says:

Atlanta selects Mychal Kendricks ILB Cal

  86. Andrew Smith says:

I have an OG that i really like, but it would’ve been a reach. I’m waiting until the 3rd round for that pick. It’s a passing league, and the Patriots managed to do alright with a prolific passing game and BJGE as their running back.

  87. Daniel B says:

With the 54th pick, the Detroit Lions select Mitchell Schwartz, OT, California.

I targeted Schwartz here, which is why I felt comfortable taking Nick Perry earlier. He can play right tackle now, and move to left in a year or two.

Harrison Smith and Konz were options, too.

  88. Andrew Smith says:

With the 53rd pick in the draft the Cincinnati Bengals select Brian Quick, WR, Appalachian State

With the loss of Jerome Simpson the Bengals needed to add some WRs to surround Andy Dalton and AJ Green. Kendall Wright was a great addition, but now with the 6’4 Brian Quick added to the mix the Bengals have developed into one of the leagues most feared under-25 passing attacks.

    • Thomas George says:

Pretty sick AJ Green, Quick, Wright for Dalton to throw

    • Daniel B says:

I expected a running back here, but since the NFL is a passing league now, and after the Law Firm signing, this is a nice steal.

  89. Mike Loyko says:

Cincinnati, Detroit, Atlanta and then Pittsburgh are the next four

  90. Jim says:

With the 52nd pick in the draft the Titans select Jayron Hosley, CB, Virginia Tech. CB is a position of need but the three players I would target in the first round were off the board and anyone else would be a huge reach. Good value for this guy at 52.

    • Rich Falls says:

I was this close to taking him but Wagner had the same grade as Hosley and a slightly better fit for what we need.

  91. Dan O'Brien says:

Eagles select Peter Konz C Winsconsin with pick 51

  92. Dan O'Brien says:

Eagles select Peter Konz C Wisconsin at 51

  93. Rich Falls says:

Bears select Bobby Wagner OLB, Great value and fit and depth at other positions for the 3rd rd.

  94. Derric says:

AJ gets his guy. With the 49th pick, the San Diego Chargers select Harrison Smith, SS, Notre Dame.

  95. Jim says:

I think you took their guy….

  96. Pete Ontiveros says:

If the draft falls like this, I think it would be really hard for the Patriots to pass up on Harrison Smith/Trumaine Johnson-FS…Outsiders opinion

  97. Thomas George says:

Cowboys just offered trade for Pick 48—> We are trying to get back into Rd 2 if we have any takers.

  98. Quandell says:

With the 48th pick the New England Patriots select Andre Branch DE Clemson

  99. Mike Loyko says:

The Jets select Bobbie Massey, OT, Ole Miss

Was going to give them a WR or DB.. but they need to fix that OL

  100. Mike Loyko says:

I will be making the Jets pick in 2 minutes

  101. Dan O'Brien says:

Eagles select Lavonte David OLB Nebraska at 46

  102. Thomas George says:

    Cowboys 2nd Round Pick
    Josh Robinson, CB, UCF

-A little raw, but we’ve got two decent CB’s on roster so he can develop this year and maybe start next yr (left Jenkins walk?)
-Adds depth at DB (last yr was catastrophic)
-Could help in return game (keep Dez off special teams)

  103. Mike Loyko says:

Dallas, Philadelphia, New York Jets, New England are the next four teams .. thanks for keeping it moving

  104. @Jason_Madson says:

With the 44th pick, the Kansas City Chiefs sprint to the podium to select Brandon Weeden!!!!

  105. Dean Barker says:

With the 43rd pick the Seattle Seahawks select Kevin Zeitler OG Wisconsin

  106. Jim says:

Made the Dolphins pick. Vinny Curry DE/OLB Marshall

  107. Mike Loyko says:

The Dolphins are up, followed by the Seahawks and Chiefs.. I am not going to keep saying whose on the clock.. so once the pick before is made feel free to make your pick

  108. Jim says:

With the 42nd pick, the Miami Dolphins select Vinny Curry DE/OLB Marshall. It pains me as a Pats fan to do this. Sorry Tom…

    • Mike Loyko says:

Passing on all the DEs like Jones, Mercilus, Curry .. would not be well received.. Martin is a hell of a player but it would be a luxury pick

      • Jim says:

my point. It would be a dream scenario to out with two of Mercilus, Curry, Jones or McLellin

  109. Michael says:

Whoa!Reyes at 39? Rams have way too many needs to be doubling up on DTs.

    • Tommy says:

Fisher loves his defensive linemen and the Rams have absolutely no depth on the defensive line.

  110. Matt Wincherauk says:

With the 41st pick, the Buffalo Bills select, Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State.

    • Rich Falls says:

Not a huge fan of his but good value there

      • Matt Wincherauk says:

Felt that he was good value for a position they need. If Adams pans out, I think he does a good job of replacing Demetress Bell.

        • Tom says:

I saw a mock today that had the Bills taking Adams at 10 in the 1st round. This is a much better spot for him to be selected.

  111. Jim says:

    Jenkins is already taken

  112. Daniel B says:

    Dude, 4/20 was yesterday…

  113. Jaron Foster says:

With the 40th pick, the Carolina Panthers select OLB Zach Brown, North Carolina. Great fit for Ron Rivera’s 4-3. If he had been taken at 36, Mike Adams would be the pick here.

  114. Mike Loyko says:

Carolina Panthers are on the Clock

  115. Jim says:

@ Daniel. That was my hope. You have your edge set for the next few years if they pan out. goes from position of absolute need to position of absolute strength. Kind of like what Tight End was a couple of years ago…..

  116. Tommy says:

Sorry last pick wan’t mine. The Rams select Kendall Reyes, DT, Uconn

  117. Mike Loyko says:

St. Louis is on the clock and the pick will be made by Tommy McCormack

  118. Jim says:

Figured he wouldn’t make it past the Pats at 31. Still hate the running back pick…

    • Daniel B says:

Yeah. Doubling up in the first would be very intriguing. You figure they could trade down and possibly get them both, or at least Mercilus.

  119. Michael says:

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Whitney Mercilus, DE, Illinois. The nation’s leader in sacks finally comes off the board. The Jags need help getting after the passer. I was also considering Mohammed Sanu and Mike Adams.

  120. Mike Loyko says:

    Jacksonville is on the clock

.. we will keep the David Wilson pick.. the original GM returned and made the pick quickly. so Zach Brown is still on the board and can be drafted

  121. Jim says:

That’s a great pick. he might sneak into the first round

  122. Mike Loyko says:

The Cleveland Browns select Kelechi Osemele, OT/OG, Iowa State … the Browns need a RT and a OG and Osemele can fill either role

    • Dan O'Brien says:

Do u want Omar Roldan to take the rest of the Bucs picks?

      • Omar Gómez Roldán says:

I sgned up with them, so I guess I will take the next one. If I am not here for any reason though, it is all yours.

  123. Omar Gómez Roldán says:

The Bucaneers select David Wilson RB Virginia Tech
Hard to pass on Harrison Smith, Lavonte David and Trumaine Johnson, but the Bucas are taking a first round talent runningback with great qbility to complement Blount and form their own young, improved version of Bradshaw-Jacobs.

  124. Matt says:

The Minnesota Vikings Select Chandler Jones, DE, Syracuse

  125. Mike Loyko says:

    Minnesota is on the clock

  126. Charles Gustkey says:

With the Colts 2nd pick, they choose Coby Fleener. Giving Luck a much needed weapon and reuniting him with his college teammate!

  127. Jim says:

Do i stay with the Titans or go back to Miami? I missed the Phins first pick

  128. Mike Loyko says:

    Indianapolis is on the Clock

  129. Mike Loyko says:

Since the Rams GM wasnt here in the first.. I will make the pick and the Rams Select Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State

  130. Daniel B says:

On to the second round! The steals at the end of the first show why those franchises are consistently good at the draft.

  131. Will Harrigan says:

Looking to trade 55 and 84(Falcons) to move up into top of second round…

    • Thomas George says:

Don’t know if Cowboys constitute top of second rd (top half at least), but we will accept the deal if interested.

  132. Jim says:

Solid Giants type pick. Thought you might go Fleener.

  133. Mike Loyko says:

The Giants select Cordy Glenn, OT/OG, Georgia

    • Sam says:

I want to apologize to everyone on here I truly wanted to participate but I completely forgot about it because I was so focused on something for my son.Truly my fault and hope I can still participate when something else comes around.Sorry again.

  134. Rob says:

It just takes one to ruin a perfectly fine mock draft. COMEON a running back in the first for the Pats.

  135. Mike Loyko says:

2 minutes until I make the Giants selection

  136. Jim says:

Mercilus was there at 31. Wish Pats would have taken him. Could have set the D for years to come with bookend pass rushers.

  137. Quandell says:

With the 31st pick th New Englan Patriots select Doug Martin RB Boise State

    • Ryan Tannehill says:

      TRADE IT

      • Quandell says:

They lost Green-Ellis, Woodhead is a 3rd down back and Vereen and Ridley are very unproven. Martin is a very good all around back that can contribute.

    • Michael says:

Not a fan of that. With the options available I’ll be shocked if Bill uses this pick come draft day. Certainty to trade down IMO.

    • Kemicol says:

Harrison smith should have been the pick we don’t need a running back we need a safety for years to come to go with Chung not a back that will be around for three years

    • Joey says:

No way the Patriots will commit a 1st, a 2nd and a 3rd pick to the running back position. They’ll go defense or trade down

    • Jim R says:

Fire Quandell. Ha ha ha. As strange as that pick looks it could happen that way. But if you pick a safety before a corner in Rd 2 you are fired

  138. Mike Loyko says:

    New England is up again

  139. Tim says:

With the 30th pick the 49ers select Jonathan Martin Offensive Tackle, Stanford.
The 49ers already have a tackle with Anthony Davis but with Martin playing right tackle he gets kicked inside to guard, where he wont have to face speed rushers like Jason Babin. Martin is smart and will solidify the right side of the 49ers offensive line.

  140. Daniel B says:

    Loving those two surprise picks.

  141. Chris Field says:

With the 29th pick, the Baltimore Ravens select Alshon Jeffery, wide receiver, South Carolina.

  142. AlexMullen4180 says:

With the 28th pick, the Green Bay Packers select Janoris Jenkins, CB, Northern Alabama.

  143. Mike Loyko says:

Green Bay is on the clock

  144. Quandell says:

With the 27th pick, the New England Patriots select Shea McClellin

  145. Mike Loyko says:

Houston Selects Rueben Randle, WR, LSU… New England is on the clock

  146. Mike Loyko says:

    Houston is on the Clock

    • James says:

If no one has offered a pick for Houston I’d suggest that the Texans use the 26th overall pick on Alshon Jeffery.

Is there much separation between Jeffery and Floyd in terms of talent and upside? I think not.

  147. GSeumalo says:

    Pick: 25th Overall
    Team: Denver Broncos
    Selection: Devon Still
    – Denver’s biggest need is at DT. Devon Still, a top 20 pick, falls here perfectly to Broncos. He is an underrated playmaker and was the leader of a strong Penn St. defense. Has good size & strength and surprising speed. Versatile along the line and is a great run stuffer. However, he faces serious injury concerns.

  148. Mike Loyko says:

    Denver is on the clock

  149. Zane Penton says:

With the 24th pick, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Dont’a Hightower, LB, Alabama. It’s the conventional pick here, but the Steelers need to get young on defense and a versatile hard-hitting LB is the perfect place to start.

  150. Mike Loyko says:

Pittsburgh is on the clock.. once the pick ahead of you is made.. feel free to make your pick you dont have to wait for me

  151. Daniel B says:

With the 23rd pick, the Detroit Lions select Nick Perry, DE, USC.

    • Kemicol says:

So not protecting stafford is the way to go Goanthen martin should have been the pick here to protect the biggest investment on the team

  152. Mike Loyko says:

    Detroit is on the Clock

  153. Daniel B says:

I’m ready when you are, for the next pick.

  154. Mike Loyko says:

I’m gunna throw a curveball in here and give the Browns.. Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech

  155. Andrew Smith says:

The Cincinnati Bengals select Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor

  156. Mike Loyko says:

Bengals are back on the clock

  157. Kemicol says:

I’m not on twitter but I’d be willing to make titans pick

  158. Jim says:

    Titans Select Michael Brockers

  159. Jim says:

    Standing by….

  160. Mike Loyko says:

I have yet to hear back from the Titans GM.. Jim.. I might need you to make this pick

  161. Jim says:

    Great pick by Bears

  162. Derric says:

To be clear, we can only trade picks in the first 3 rounds, correct?

  163. Mike Loyko says:

The Tennessee Titans are on the clock

  164. Rich Falls says:

Once Coples was gone then this became an easy pick. Bears select Riley Reiff OT Iowa. Best player at biggest need position. Offensive line is fixed!

  165. Jim says:

    Brockers is free falling

  166. Mike Loyko says:

    Bears are up!

  167. Derric says:

With the 18th pick the San Diego Chargers select Courtney Upshaw, OLB, Alabama.

  168. Mike Loyko says:

The San Diego Chargers are on the clock

  169. Kemicol says:

Can anyone make a pick or is it only certain people

    • Mike Loyko says:

you had to sign up a couple days ago, whats your twitter handle.. if someone doesnt show up.. I can give you a team

  170. Andrew Smith says:

With the 17th pick the Cincinnati Bengals select Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama

  171. Mike Loyko says:

The Cincinnati Bengals are on the clock, with their first of two first round picks

  172. Jamaal Riggins says:

Jets Fans are you ready!! With the 16th pick in the 2012 NFL the New York Jets select Quinton Coples Defensive End North Carolina!!!

  173. Mike Loyko says:

The New York Jets are on the clock

  174. @Jason_Madson says:

Mass Chaos here at the NEPD Mock Draft!! 2 Eagles owners chime in at the same time, with 2 different picks.

  175. Dan O'Brien says:

Philadelphia Eagles at #15 take Mark Barron, S, Alabama.

  176. @Jason_Madson says:

    The Eagles are OTC

Poe and not Barron. Wow. That’s a surprise pick

Guys you have ten minutes from the time of your last pick to make your selection.. If not I am giving the team away to someone who is here.. I am not tracking down everyone for each pick

  183. Dean Barker says:

With the 12th pick the Seattle Seahawks select Melvin Ingram DE South Carolina

  184. Mike Loyko says:

    • Mark says:

Mike I am enjoying the live mock very much. It’s…relieving the pain of thinking the NFL draft was this weekend…i’ve been distracted at work. Think of doing this again with the time allowed for trade negotiation. That would be fun to read.—If you build it they will come….ease his pain.—LOL

Also if any of you draftees are truly watching, gives the reader a shout out. It gives us a rush. I hope you all make it…every one of you.
