Strengths: Elite height, size and length – Sees the field very well – Very productive, throwing for over 4000 yards as a Junior – Possesses good athleticism, can create in space and move the pile on a sneak – Has plenty of arm strength for the NFL, can connect on the deep out and spins a nice ball – Seems to have improved against pressure, but is much more accurate from a clean pocket – Exhibits good touch down the field when he can set his feet – Plays fearless – Very impressive intangibles and leadership abilities – Team captain.
Weaknesses: Doesn’t have a quick delivery, height and length work against him here – Due to poor mechanics, has some balls batted down that he shouldn’t as a 6’7″ prospect – Has stared down his receivers at times – Wasn’t asked to make a lot of throws past the 15-yard mark, worked a lot of screens – Only started for one year, not sure he could be a day one starter in the NFL.
