Strengths:
Good height and size for a QB – Experience in professional sports, former Minor League pitcher – Can make all the throws with zip and a tight spiral – Sneaky athleticism, can get out of the pocket and still make an accurate throw – Intelligent player – Good leader – Keeps his calm when he’s pressured – Gets the ball out quick – Steps into his throws – Goes through all of his progressions – Threw at a 72.3% completion clip his senior year – After some initial issues, looked comfortable under center at the Senior Bowl.

Weaknesses:
Going to be 28 years old when he takes his first pro snap – Has very little experience under center coming from a spread offense – Arm injury ended his pro baseball career – Can get lazy in play action and play fakes – Has a tendency to throw at a lower angle on screens and short throws.
