Senior Bowl Live: Defense

North Prospects

Mike Martin, DT, Michigan – Martin has been so dominate all week. He plays with such good leverage and is so strong he can just bullrush any OL on any play. He has proven he can play 3-tech this week and can get penetration.

Leonard Johnson, CB, Iowa State – Johnson is probably the most physical CB in Mobile. He loves to press and will get in your face. I think he can also play zone with proper coaching.

George Iloka, S, Boise State – Iloka has probably helped his stock more than any safety this week. He is really tall and can cover a lot of ground. Questions about his hips and ability to turn and run remain.

Donnie Fletcher, CB, Boston College – Fletcher has had a very solid week. He has proved to be one of the most physical CBs here which is a very nice change from the way they used him as Boston College.

Bobby Wagner, LB, Utah State- Wagner might be the best LB prospect down here. He is fast and fluid and has proven that he can attack a little bit. He has answered a lot of questions this week and his stock is on the rise.

Cam Johnson, DE/OLB, Virginia – Johnson has impressed me this week. He has played both DE and OLB and has proven to have an explosive first step. Multiple OL have said he is the best pass rusher they have faced this week.

Derek Wolfe, DT, Cincinnati – Wolfe was a late add who has turned heads since he got here. He has continued to get penetration and disrupt plays. He’s a big tall kid who should have some scheme versatility.

Vinny Curry, DE, Marshall – Curry works really hard and has a great motor. He is not as explosive as some of the other players and is more of a 2-3rd round prospect. He could have a really good Senior Bowl game though.

Asa Jackson, CB, Cal Poly – Jackson started off the week, getting beat by Brian Quick. He has gotten better as the week has gone on and has improved. I really like his compete level and the way he practices.

Demario Davis, LB, Arkansas State- Davis is another late add who has proven to be one of the more athletic linebacker prospects here. He is someone whose draft stock is on the rise and someone who I have to go back and watch more film on.
