Film Room Notes: vs Iowa

Strengths: Decent size, looks very long through the arms – Exhibits good balance in and out of his backpedal – Fluid hips aid in Fleming rarely giving up too much separation – Shows an ability to be physical in press man – Finds the ball quickly in coverage, very adept at deflecting the ball away – Reads routes early, gets fantastic breaks – Confident, feisty player with a lack of in-game memory regarding big plays – More quick than fast.

Weaknesses: Doesn’t look like a low 4.4 guy on tape, doesn’t have elite recovery speed – Can be overwhelmed on the LOS by bigger, stronger receivers – Not a liability, but could stand to improve his tackling – Had some academic issues at OU that were resolved after one semester.
