The only way to draft is to draft for value. Teams that reach for need are never successful. Its better to have the 2nd best player at a position your already good at.. then the 10th best player at a position of need…If you can get a player of value at a position of need.. then you are going to have a very good draft

  2. Ellis says:

i feel like the Pats (BB) often target value over need. let’s be honest, their needs are not equal to the steelers/eagles “needing” oline help, the dolphins/jets “needing” a qb, or the colts/falcons “needing” an entire secondary.

with that in mind, and after looking at the roster, i’m curious about guys that I could see sliding to the end of the 1st and beginning of 2nd (BB’s wheelhouse).

guys like: Mike Adams, Mark Barron, Jared Crick, Ta’amu Alameda, and Billy Winn.

    thanks for all you do.

  3. TD says:

    DLinemen, LB’s and WR.

I would expect BB to get a WR or two in free agency.

They are going to need DL/OLB, CB & a safety. Their DL depth is going to need replacing as the following are FA’s or unreliable: Carter, Anderson, Brace, Mike Wright, Pryor, Ellis. Need some cover LB’s and a rush LB or two.

    • Ken W says:

Yah good point I expect Carter, Anderson, and Brace to be back but Carter is getting pretty old so there is a definite need to replenish the position. Hasn’t been the same since Seymour left.

  4. Ken W says:

Fletcher Cox, Jared Crick, Derek Wolfe, Courtney Upshaw, Dont’a Hightower, Janoris Jenkins, Chase Minniefield, Peter Konz, Jarius Wright, and Mohamed Sanu just to name a few.

  5. Big Dan From Maine says:

Corner Backs, safetys, and rush linebackers. With limited picks, this is where I think we should focus our draft. Now I know the Hooded Genius won’t do it.
