When Baylor and Washington meet in the Alamo Bowl, two of the greatest offensive weapons in the nation will be on display. Here are the top 2012 NFL Draft prospects to watch.
Baylor’s Top Prospect: WR Kendall Wright
Until Robert Griffin III is officially declared for the 2012 NFL Draft, we’ll say that Wright is the top prospect for the Bears. His blazing speed, quality routes, and good hands have certainly helped make RG3 what he is today.
Any team looking for a slot receiver or deep threat should be taking a lot of notes on Wright.
Others to watch: QB Robert Griffin, RB Terrance Ganaway
Washington’s Top Prospect: DT Alameda Ta’amu
Ta’amu is a huge DT/NT prospect that is very adept at clogging the middle of the line. If he ever learns to use all of his strength and cleans up his technique, he has an incredibly high ceiling.
The mammoth Husky should hear his name called on day two of the draft.
Others to watch: RB Chris Polk, WR Jermaine Kearse, CB Desmond Trufant
