We’ve already previewed and posted film room sessions for the first four bowl games of the year. You can check out nearly 100 games that we’ve scouted from this season and how the prospects performed.
Here is your early look at the 2012 NFL Draft Prospects for when Arizona State and Boise State face off in the Las Vegas Bowl.
Top Prospect: LB Vontaze Burfict (Scouting Report)
Burfict is easily one of the most talented linebackers in the country. That said, with his inability to control his emotions on the field has forced Coach Erickson to play him with the 2nd team during bowl practice.
Once the game starts, however, I’d expect Burfict to be out there with the starters. His speed, instincts, and incredible timing on blitzes makes him a prospect that can find a place in nearly any scheme.
I’d like to see Burfict show his physicality and athleticism at its full potential this game – something we haven’t seen a lot of in 2011.
Others to Watch: QB Brock Osweiler, DB Omar Bolden (Injured, not expected to play)
Top Prospect: Billy Winn, DL (Scouting Report)
Winn is an incredibly versatile prospect – I wouldn’t be shocked to see him lined up at every defensive line position and even middle linebacker on occasion during this game.
I’ve loved his violent hands and powerful bull-rush in the past, but I hope to see a bit more in the pass-rush department against Arizona State.
Others to Watch: S George Iloka, RB Doug Martin, QB Kellen Moore
