Aaron Hernandez, Sebastian Vollmer, Leigh Bodden, Ras-I Dowling, Albert Haynesworth, and Mike Wright were all ruled out prior to the game due to injuries.
Ryan Mallett is expected to be the final inactive declared by the Patriots. (Update: Mallett has been confirmed inactive)
The Patriots defensive backfield looks incredibly thin, with Devin McCourty and Kyle Arrington likely the starting corners. Antwaun Molden and Phillip Adams would be the backups.
Pat Chung and Sergio Brown will likely share time with Josh Barrett and James Ihedigbo at the safety position.
Nate Solder will make his third start in place of the injured Vollmer at right tackle.
Rob Gronkowski is the lone tight end on the roster again this week. We’ll probably see the formation where Matt Light lines up there to the right of Nate Solder again, with Donald Thomas then playing left tackle.
Gerard Warren should see some significant playing time with Myron Pryor (IR), Haynesworth, and Wright all out injured.
It will be interesting to see how many snaps Taylor Price gets compared to Chad Ochocinco.
