Kenny Vaccaro NFL Draft

Kenny Vaccaro's play was one of only a few bright spots for the Longhorns.

The Red River Shootout is an incredible game in itself – add in some fantastic 2012 NFL Draft prospects and I was sold.

Here is what we saw from the Longhorns and Sooners.

Pre-Game Meal: Jets Week

Stevan Ridley Patriots RB

Can Stevan Ridley help get the Patriots past the New York Jets?

NEPD Staff Writer: Brian Delabarrera

Last Week in Oakland, the Patriots were able to defend the No. 1 running attack in the NFL and to convincingly improve to 3-1. This team is by no means “elite”, but they are pretty darn good.

Antonio Cromartie wants Brady to throw at him, Santonio Holmes thinks our defense sucks and Aaron Hernandez, well Aaron Hernandez just doesn’t want some story floating around in a New York paper about how he could beat Darrelle Revis.

So where does that all leave us? Right back to where we started. The Patriots were only able to take one out of three last year from the Jets and somehow with all the additions we made, our defense might look worse than last year.

Here’s what I’m looking for in Sunday’s game:

Kenny Vaccaro Patriots NFL Draft

Safety Kenny Vaccaro is just one of the Texas NFL Draft prospects that I'm excited to be scouting this weekend.

I’ll be taking a look at some more great teams with some top-notch 2012 NFL Draft prospects this weekend.

Iowa vs Penn State and Oklahoma vs Texas are both matchups with some great defenders and some explosive pass-catchers. Make sure you check out the film room early next week to see the results of our scouting.
