NEPD Prospect Preview: Week 6

Kenny Vaccaro Patriots NFL Draft

Safety Kenny Vaccaro is just one of the Texas NFL Draft prospects that I'm excited to be scouting this weekend.

I’ll be taking a look at some more great teams with some top-notch 2012 NFL Draft prospects this weekend.

Iowa vs Penn State and Oklahoma vs Texas are both matchups with some great defenders and some explosive pass-catchers. Make sure you check out the film room early next week to see the results of our scouting.

Our staff scouts will be taking a look at Cal vs Oregon and Maryland vs Georgia Tech.

Chad at will scout the Miami vs Virginia Tech and Georgia vs Tennessee games. Matt Deem at is scouting the West Virginia vs UCONN matchup.

Matthew Elder at is studying three games this weekend: Georgia Southern vs Chattanooga, Rutgers vs Pitt, and BYU vs San Jose State.

Oklahoma vs Texas

We’ve seen Oklahoma before, but this will be the first time that we’ve scouted Texas this year.

#91 Kheeston Randall, DT, Texas
Quick lineman with a lot of potential. Very strong, but lacks moves to get off blocks.

#1 Keenan Robinson, LB, Texas
All-around outside backer prospect with good speed.

#16 Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas
Can cover receivers, play the run, and deliver the hit. Could be a good one if he declares for the 2012 NFL Draft.

#85 Ryan Broyles, WR, Oklahoma
#12 Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma
#61 Ben Habern, OC, Oklahoma
#28 Travis Lewis, LB, Oklahoma

Iowa vs Penn State

We’ve already scouted both of these teams, so you can check out the prior film room posts for Iowa and Penn State to get a preview. We’ll be scouting:

#77 Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa
#7 Marvin McNutt, WR, Iowa
#45 Tyler Nielsen, LB, Iowa
#18 Micah Hyde, CB/S, Iowa
#93 Mike Daniels, DL, Iowa

#71 Devon Still, DL, Penn State
#81 Jack Crawford, DE, Penn State
#6 Derek Moye, WR, Penn State
