Patriots vs Bills: Inactives Reaction

The Patriots have declared the following players inactive for today’s game against the Buffalo Bills: Albert Haynesworth, Sebastian Vollmer, Patrick Chung, Taylor Price, Ras-I Dowling, Mike Wright, and Aaron Hernandez

All inactives were listed on this week’s injury report.

With Dowling and Chung out, the defensive backfield is very thin. Look for a lot of three safety sets.

Ryan Mallett will be dressed for his first NFL game, as well as Shane Vereen. Jeff Tarpinian will also make his debut as a linebacker.

Newly-signed DB Philip Adams and DL Landon Cohen will also see action.

Gary Guyton, a late scratch last week, is active. Jerod Mayo, who was also listed as questionable, will also play.

Leigh Bodden and Kyle Arrington, both listed as probable, should see the majority of the snaps in place of Ras-I Dowling.

Zoltan Mesko is active – let’s hope he only has to be the holder.

This will kill the Pats on both sides. As it did.
