Patriots Make Last-Minute Roster Moves

After a small flurry of moves before the season officially starts, New England is now ready to start the season.

The Patriots added a blocker to their roster for tonight’s game against the Miami Dolphins, promoting Thomas Welch from the practice squad. Welch is a swing tackle that was originally drafted by the Patriots in 2010.
