According to Kevin Fishbain of PFW, the Patriots will be holding a workout with Northwestern defensive tackle Corbin Bryant.
Bryant recently impressed by putting up 31 repetitions at his Pro Day workout on March 8th, where he reportedly weighed in at over 300 pounds and measured 6’4″. Bryant mainly played inside at Northwestern, but could theoretically play as a 3-4 DE in the NFL.
The former Wildcat was an honorable-mention All-Big 10 selection in 2010, following a season where he racked up 8.0 tackles for loss.
Bryant is rated as a late-round pick or priority free-agent in the upcoming 2011 NFL Draft.
