The main NCAA game that we’ll be scouting this week is the undefeated matchup of Oklahoma vs Missouri. We’ll be watching two premiere DE/OLB hybrids that the Patriots will surely be taking a look at this spring.
Missouri’s Aldon Smith is coming off an injury and is expected to play. He will be draft eligible as a sophomore this year, but we haven’t heard if he is leaning towards leaving or not.
Oklahoma’s Jeremy Beal, is a guy who decided last year to come back for his senior year, much to our chagrin. Beal projects as a 3-4 OLB that could play either the weak or strong side.
Other prospects we’re keeping on eye on this weekend are:
Kelechi Osemele, LT, Iowa State (vs Texas)
Gabe Carimi, LT, Wisconsin (vs Iowa)
Christian Ballard, DE/DT, Iowa (vs Wisconsin)
