Tomorrow is Halloween in Foxboro, Massachusetts and not too many of its residents are very concerned. From 4:15 PM EST until somewhere around 8:00 PM or so, Foxboro and the rest of Patriot Nation will be eagerly watching as the Minnesota Vikings come to town side by side with our old buddy Randy Moss.

A football team can't get enough guys named Dain. (Or Dane)

While many NCAA football fans might not have seen the Drake Bulldogs play, word gets around to NFL Scouts. The Patriots have been to Des Moines to check out the scintillating DE/OLB Dain Taylor, who didn’t disappoint last week. He tallied a sack and a interception returned for a TD.

The Aftermath: Patriots vs Chargers

An eerily similar circumstance thankfully ended with a different result for Patriots fans.

Last year, a 4th down call in their own territory led to an Indianapolis Colts victory and a few weeks of talk-radio debate. A similar call today gave Patriots fans from coast-to-coast more 4th-quarter excitement than they bargained for.
