The preseason is over and the coaches are currently evaluating film on 75 Patriots players and about 1000 players from other NFL teams. Teams are required to be under a 53-man cap by September 4th.

In a topsy-turvy preseason, the Patriots last game before starting the regular season didn’t disappoint for ups and downs. While the starters only played about a quarter, a lot could be learned from the action.

The final week of preseason football is here and only one more gloomy, pigskin-less Monday is in our sights finally. As quickly as August went by, the NFL couldn’t get here soon enough.
