The NFL opened their season up last week, and for that I was very excited. Ending up in a tie with Mr. NEPD in our Pick’em contest is just gravy. This week on “A Female Touch”, I’ll state a few of my beefs with the NFL and, as always, provide with you my superstar NFL picks.

2010 NFL Picks: Week 2

Week 2 NFL Picks

Mark Sanchez' jersey number doubled as a counter for total 1st downs last week against the Ravens.

After last week’s picks netted us a 9-7 record,  we are ready to try and move up the ranks in the NEPD Pick’em Contest during Week 2 of the NFL season.

After a promising beginning to this career in New England, Laurence Maroney has been traded by the Patriots to a different dance partner: the Denver Broncos.

The Saints had a big victory over the Vikings, but there is a host of teams ready to stake their claim to be on top of our NFL Power Rankings for Week 2, most notably the Ravens, who made the Jets offense look utterly useless.

The Aftermath: Patriots vs Bengals

Tom Brady orchestrated an impressive opening performance by the Patriots offense.

Chad Ochocinco threatened to use one of the Minutemen’s muskets after scoring during the Patriots and Bengals opening day game. Unfortunately for him, the Patriots had run the muskets out of ammunition by the time Ochocinco found the end zone.

FINALLY! We’ve arrived at the 2010-2011 opening weekend, and only a short three weeks after Roger Goodell saw his own shadow! The 2009 AFC East Champion New England Patriots will host the Cincinnati Bengals, the reigning crown of the AFC North.

Like most of their northern counterparts, Cincinnati comes out of the gate running down teams’ throats. Normally this really wouldn’t worry me, however, now with the WR-tandem of Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens, the Bengals prove to be quite the challenge for a young, hopeful defense that is looking to find their identity.
