Patriots Trim Roster

Leigh Bodden won't be picking off any passes this season for the Patriots.

Even though the deadline for trimming NFL Rosters to 75 players or less came and went at 4pm eastern, the media relations department for the Patriots decided to put in some overtime.

2010 Patriots Roster Prediction 5.0

This Tuesday, the Patriots front-office will complete the first round of cuts this season, bringing the total number of players to 75 or less. Five days later, on September 4th, they’ll have to cull the roster down to the final 53.

Here is our fifth, and next to last, prediction of what that roster will look like.

The Aftermath: Patriots vs Rams

Even in a stadium known for its musketfire, the third Patriots preseason game truly started with a bang.  Unfortunately for the Patriots, Brandon Tate’s 97 yard opening kickoff return for a touchdown was one of the only highlights of the game.

Preseason Meal: St. Louis Rams

Julian Edelman and the Patriots offense haven't had trouble moving the ball in the preseason.

NEPD is stepping in for B. Delabarrera this week for your Pre-Game meal.

An upset victory of the high-powered Rams powered the Patriots to a dynasty that culminated with three Lombardi trophies being housed at Gillette Stadium.

While a third week preseason game against the lowly Rams doesn’t have as much cache as a Superbowl, it will be a major milestone in the new-look Patriots bid to reclaim their seat among the elite of the NFL.
