Patriots Sign Two 7th Rounders

Zac Robinson Signs Contract With Patriots

Zac Robinson will be in camp on time - will the Patriots 1st and 2nd Rounders join him?

Just three days away from training camp, the Patriots have signed two more of their 2010 Draft Picks.  Quarterback Zac Robinson and defensive lineman Kade Weston both inked contracts this Thursday.

This leaves only Devin McCourty, Rob Gronkowski, Brandon Spikes and Jermaine Cunningham needing to sign contracts before the opening of practices Sunday.

  1. Tom Estes says:

Zac Robinson is a fine young man with tons of potential. Having coached him as a kid, I can tell you, nobody outworks Zac Robinson. While several Big 12 quarterbacks sat out the season nursing “injuries”, Zac took a tremendous hit to his shoulder early in the season but played on. Instead of worrying about not being at 100% to impress the Pro scouts, he sucked it up and pulled the rope on the wagon. Sports writers/talking heads said his arm strength wasn’t there his senior year. Do ya think! When you play with a bum shoulder in your throwing arm that ought to be a no brainer to figure out. Shoulders heal, his did and he will surprise alot of people if they give him a chance to shine.
