Will Drew Brees lift the Lombardi Trophy a second time, or will there be a new Superbowl Champion in 2010?
NFL Power Rankings: Pre-Season

The elite ten teams have to start with the Superbowl winner and runner-up, but the next eight aren’t too far behind. The QB’s in charge of each of the top nine teams hold the key to their success in 2010, especially the Texans, Eagles and Jets. Mark Sanchez, Matt Schaub, and Kevin Kolb haven’t shown that they can lead their team to the promised land, although each have shown flashes of the ability to do so.

The next dozen teams are either on an up-swing (Chiefs, Niners, Bengals) or on the wrong side of the slope (Chargers, Cardinals, Steelers). To make the playoffs, an off-season gamble has to work out for these teams to have a chance at the Lombardi Trophy.

I put * next to the ones that I thought were rediculous, whether too high or too low. But the major ones are….SD #2,MIA#6,CAR#7,MIN #13. The Pats at 14 is pretty low too, but outside of NE, I think most people wold put the Pats between 8-12. I thought Kings’ whole list was pretty out-there.

The Carolina ranking is bad, but having the Seahawks ranked below the Vikings is ludicrous. PK is not a coffee guy, not a football guy.
the chiefs are above the titans, redskins, broncos, and bears? no way man haha maybe the bears but thats it.
We shall see… the Chiefs are on the rise.
