Strengths: Shows better speed on the field than he does on the track – Very instinctive, reads and reacts quickly – Able to apply pressure to the QB when blitzing – Has decent coverage skills, good awareness in zone and can open up and run with some TE’s – Good balance in his drop allows him to play faster than he is – Extremely productive.
Weaknesses: Does not have ideal size, adding bulk seemed to slow him down a bit – Questionable ability to set the edge – May be scheme limited (4-3 only) – Stays blocked – Occasionally tackles way too high on power runners – Had some injury concerns as a senior.
