Patriots Madden Ratings Observations

A few quick hits on some of the interesting or odd things in the individual rankings for Madden ’11. You can see the full list here.

Swagger

The new rating this year has to do with celebrating after or before a TD.  Tom Brady clocks in with the Patriots highest rating at 96.  Randy Moss also sports a 95.  The oversight here is Zoltan Mesko – given a 75 rating… He deserves at least a 106.

Strengths: Decent size and bulk – Can make the incredible catch – True threat after the catch – Great vision on kickoff returns and reverses – Able to gain separation on all three levels of routes – Very consistent production – Experience in pro-style offense.

Weaknesses: Will make an occasional drop – Needs to work on dealing with press coverage – Route-running is decent, but will need a tune-up in the NFL – HUGE concern off the field.
