Patriots Worked Out Gilyard, Pike

According to the National Football Post, the Patriots worked out Tony Pike, Mardy Gilyard, and two other Cincinnati Bearcats today in Cinci.

Gilyard is an intriguing prospect that has drawn a lot of interest from the Patriots. His return skills, work ethic, and ability to create separation in the receiving game should endear him to Patriot coaches.

Pike would challenge Brian Hoyer for the backup QB spot behind Tom Brady.
