Top NFL Draft Prospects for the St. Petersburg Bowl
1. Anthony Davis, Junior OT, Rutgers (Pictured)
Davis, the #1 tackle prospect according to some sources, is a big man that could play guard in the NFL. His large frame (6-7/330) and good feet translate well to playing on Sundays. Look for a late 1st-Round, early 2nd Round selection for Davis. We have him going #38 in our 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
2. Bruce Miller, Junior DE/OLB, UCF
Miller is the Conference-USA defensive player of the year, racking up sacks and tackles for loss on a weekly basis. Miller projects to an OLB position in the NFL, where if he chooses to come out this year he should be projected as a 4th or 5th-Round pick. Next year, that could move up to the 1st or 2nd-Round.
3. Devin McCourty, Senior CB, Rutgers
McCourty is the best CB in the Big East this year, sporting good ball skills and a forty in the mid 4.4’s. McCourty should be picked in the 3rd or 4th-Round.
